WD Spy rule two seventy three is entitled 'Girl power should be taken as a promise, threat, and ultimatum.'

Previous rule two seventy two:  Parental tough love means being able to tell your kids that one day 'I'll need you to not need me'.

Next rule two seventy four: Evil blood and innocent tears both flow downward.

-Short summary-

Now that Meifa, Penbur, and Mugen have appeared will the fight for the operatives get easier or more difficult? Can the injured parties even hope to scratch Asahara?

-Long summary-

Meifa commands 'dipshit' or Lukas to stand up and quit being lazy. Lukas spits back at her that he's kind of injured, and moreover why is she even here? Meifa frowns and points at Mugen, as if that answers all of Lukas's questions. She then stares at him for a moment and asks him about his bloody eye. Lukas rages and asks how she could JUST notice that. She replies that she doesn't like looking at him, although with the bloody eye he looks more like a man and less like a bitch. Lukas calms down and changes gears, asking where her communicator is, as hers should still be functional considering she didn't get blown up. Meifa shrugs an arm and replies she lost it somewhere. Lukas's jaw drops and he asks if she even brought it with her? Meifa blinks and innocently whistles, which causes Lukas to rage again. How could she have left it behind? Here he is worried about everyone when she's clearly okay. Of course he wouldn't know that since she didn't bring her fucking communicator! Meifa asks if he'd like to lose another eye, and he asks if she'd like to be fired. Meifa smugly points out that only Jax can fire her, until Lukas reminds her that Jax handed all the leadership roles of sector seven to him. Meifa thinks about this for a moment, and then concludes that she'll have to kill him. Before that however, she points at the helicopter lodged into the side of the wall, and asks if that's Jax's? Lukas groans and nods in affirmation which illicits an emotion besides annoyance from Meifa. She turns white and asks if Jax is okay, which Lukas replies he's not sure. She starts to go over to the helicopter, but doubles over in pain and holds her side. Mugen broke her ribs earlier, and now that he rush of wanting to beat him to death had faded the pain had decided to make a house call.

Mugen stands up finally and asks Meifa if she's forgotten about their previous engagement? Meifa tells him to fuck off, that her family in Sector Seven comes first. She hears something coming behind her, and barely avoids being kicked by Asahara who had slipped over to her unnoticed while she argued with Lukas. He is so fast that the operative is unable to warn his co operative to move, but Meifa's instincts end up working in her favor as she ducks to the side. She asks who the hell he is, and Asahara replies simply that he's the boss of this outfit. Meifa sizes him up, and quickly realizes that he has no openings, no weak spots. Even if she were 110 percent, she could never hope to beat him in a fight -fair or otherwise. She asks 'dipshit', if he can stand up, to which Lukas replies with indignation that he was just about to do that. The teen operative looks Asahara in the eye and grins, saying that she can probably last another 3 to 5 minutes. In that time he'd better do all that 'thinky' shit he does and get them out of this situation.  Lukas asks if Meifa's really going to sacrifice herself for his sake, and she spits back that she's not intending to die since she still has to kick her Dad's ass. Standing against Asahara is asking for death Penbur retorts, to which Meifa politely asks her Dad to eat shit.  Lukas gets to his feet, and tries to get a grip on the current situation. Asahara isn't going to let them escape now, so their best bet is to find some way to disable him and get away. They may be injured, but he still is alone in hostile territory. He can see that it's all Meifa can do to stand right now, and Mugen probably isn't going to help them.

...Though, wait. Mugen? What will he do in this situation? Will he help them or assist Asahara? More like, what is he doing here at all? Lukas's brain spasms with all the different situations that this one factor presents. Mugen doesn't seem to be injured that much, so he could easily take them all on. Lukas is confident in his own martial arts prowess, but there is a marked difference between sparring with his brother and taking a few championships, and the kind of street fighting Meifa and Jia had undergone. Moreover, he hadn't actually even met Mugen until now....Heike had filled him in on the details since he and Mo had the opportunity to deal with Satan's Child during a botched mission. (Botched mostly because of Mugen's appearance.) Hell, even Karoline had seemed afraid of Mugen which was saying a lot. She's a goth loli who cuddles with a block of C4 at night, and her henchmen will shoot a guy down if she so much as insinuates it. Although the mercenary-terrorist had more or less turned down the opportunity to join them on this mission because it wouldn't (financially) benefit her, Lukas could tell it was more or less because she feared that Mugen would show up. Lukas's head begins to pound in frustration, as he's completely unsure of what to do now....if only there was some way to get everyone on the same page....!

Meifa suddenly demands all attention to be on her. She proclaims herself the 'Baddest Bitch', but admits that even someone with a title as dubious as hers needs some backup. Considering that Asahara tried to blow them all up, it's obvious he doesn't really have a preference for who dies when. In that case they'd might as well team up and help a bitch out. She turns to Ruka who has managed to use the sword to support her weight as she stands up. Her breathing is labored, but she agrees with Meifa that a team up would be for the best. She then glances over at Mugen who raises an eyebrow. After a minute he shrugs and says he'll join in since it sounds like it'll be a blast. Lukas blinks and rubs his good eye, asking himself 'Did Meifa just get everyone to turn against Asahara?' In any case, this makes his job easier. Mugen and Meifa look as if they'll be fine for at least a little while, Penbur doesn't look likely to move much less turn on them, and he's good to at least walk. Ruka wobbles to and fro while using the sword as a prop, so he decides he'll assist her. The problem is getting past Asahara to...

Mugen opens with a kick to the cult-leader's torso. Ashara blocks and answers with a fist of his own in which Satan's child ducks and aims for his head. Asahara leans back and nearly counters with a headbutt, but Mugen leaps back, and Meifa streaks in and delivers a sharp jab to his shin. The cult leader blinks the only indication that he felt anything. Mugen blurs back and smacks Asahara hard in the stomach with a kick; which he counters with another to the side, and sweeps the cult leader off his feet. Asahara recovers by landing on his hands and launching himself forward. Meifa is there and despite her height, engages the cult leader in a full on grapple.  She's unable to land any decisive blows due to her height and weight, but on the contrary Asahara finds it difficult to hit the teen operative as she ducks and weaves around any and all of her attacks. Meifa realizes her jiujitsu won't help against Asahara, and as much as she hates it she'll need to rely on her karate. This vexes her twofold, since it's Duarte that had taught her this, and because she knows it won't do a damn thing to Asahara in the long run which means she'll have to rely on Mugen to do the dirty work.

Mugen watches for an opening, and then upon seeing one leaps forward, and with tag team like precision, the two switch out and Mugen lands a heavy blow on the cult leader's chest. Asahara stumbles slightly, but his reaction is fast and furious. He swings down at Mugen and catches his shoulder slamming him down. Before he can get moving again, Asahara unleashes a kick that sends him flying a few feet forward. Mugen coughs up blood and lands with a thud. He darts to Satan's child to deliver a final blow when the dust from the rubble suddenly kicks up causing him to stop. A pebble flies right past him, and then another, followed by a rock. The cult leader realizes that Meifa must have picked up some of the debris and is using the dust to obscure his vision, but is undaunted. He is hit in the forehead by a rock, and lunges in the direction from where it came.  Meifa has her guard up, ready for a punch but Asahara feints and prepares a kick instead. Everything slows down for the teen operative, as she knows her little body will not withstand a kick in it's current condition from an adult man. She can't twist her body or move as the pain in her side has made it impossible for her to react quickly. Mugen is also too far away to provide back up; and Meifa muses that it's fucking amazing that a few minutes ago she wanted Mugen dead, and now she's relying on him---or her for back up. Although she's fairly sure she won't die from this hit, it's gonna hurt like hell.

Something glistens behind Asahara and he turns to face it, diverting his kick ever so slightly. Meifa takes this chance to roll out of the way so the cult leader meets nothing but air. He turns and in the moonlight a sword's sharp edge shines. It is only now Meifa realizes the hole they fell through has torn a hole through the ceiling clear over to the helicopter allowing a clear view of the sky. Meifa flops on her back and breathes, her body closing up shop for today. She can't move again even if she wants to so she silently tells 'dipshit' that the ball is in his court.

Lukas holds Ruka up as she points the sword at her father. She declares in Japanese that she has chosen to live. Asahara replies in kind that he forbids it, and remarks how much like a certain dead bitch she looks. He'll relish taking that confidence out of her eyes. She leans down low and in Japanese tells him to bring it on if he dares.
