-Short summary-

Lukas faces off against Daiki and Mizuki, revealing that even within the Asahara family, allegiances are shaky at best. Meanwhile Mugen and Penbur continue their struggle until a third party joins the fight.

-Long summary-

It was a simple plan really. If one calls a plan of distraction 'Smoke and mirrors' then Lukas would call this 'Smoke, smog, and broken glass'. Rockett would appear as a distraction from the air, while a handful of sector seven operatives would sneak in through the hidden entrances of the building. Heike had connections that were able to get him the building's blueprints, and the information that Asahara had only recently bought the property, which brings one to the obvious conclusion that the cult leader had only bought this building to create a mass mafia grave. Lukas had felt bad about asking Rockett to spearhead the operation, but the amicable robot scientist was happy to help, citing that it had been a while since he had some screen time anyway, and he wants to prove that cheap isn't always bad.

In the present Lukas grits his teeth, clenches his jaw and fist and glares at Mizuki. Maybe she hadn't been the one to kill Rockett personally, but she is related to the guys who did. It goes without saying that he would get revenge and save Ruka.

Daiki runs into the hallway and stops short of Mizuki and Lukas. After looking over the situation, he applauds Lukas and reminds him how he had said he would be in the middle of something big. It's a real shame that he would probably die here. Lukas picks up on the 'probably' part of the sentence and realizes that Daiki is trying to work some sort of angle with him. He asks the siblings where Ruka is, and tells them to move aside. Mizuki's inner killswitch is flipped by both his question and his arrogance. She's right in front of him, and he still only wants to see her weak sister? She replies to Lukas that she intends to send both of them to hell, so they'll see each other soon enough. She lunges at Lukas, and he surprises both siblings by easily side stepping the attack. Lukas notes that having to live with Meifa means dealing with this sort of assault on a daily basis. He admits that Mizuki is slightly faster than his roommate, but what Meifa lacks in speed she makes up in power.....power that he'll gladly show off. He then turns and forces his palm into the young Asahara's chin, sending her flying backwards.

Daiki whistles, while Mizuki stands up slowly and rages at him. She lunges at Lukas who moves aside again, and fakes to his left. He then reaches into the inside of the trench coat he's wearing when Mizuki swipes at it causing something to fall. The government operative smiles, and hops backwards twice. He asks them what kind of 'Prince of Darkness' he'd be if he couldn't at least summon fire? Lukas snaps and points at the floor which promptly explodes.

Mizuki is less than impressed with Lukas's tactic, and lunges again only to find that the rug or in this instance ground has pulled from under her. She falls down into a pit while doing some impressive bilingual swearing. There is another explosion, and eventually her voice fades from the room. Daiki looks over at Lukas, who holds up a small sphere about twice as big as a lithium battery. He admits that Ricca has impressed him with her modified M86 pursuit deterrent munition. Normally these things are closer to hand grenades, but she nerfed the power a bit along with making it smaller. Mizuki probably wouldn't die from being hit by these, but they pack enough kick to keep enemies at bay. Daiki smiles and admits that he likes Lukas in 'various ways', which is why he had even taken the time out to meet him at Ruka's house before. Lukas doesn't react to this comment, which endears him more to Daiki. Although daddy-o had commanded that anyone who steps foot in the building should die, Daiki likes Lukas soooo much that he'll leave him alive. Of course, he won't say where Ruka is, and since now he has to go downstairs to ensure his sister's safety that means he could run into some of Lukas's co-workers and friends. He ensures Lukas that the amnesty he extends to him will not go for them.

Lukas isn't worried, since they won't die. Everyone who came with him is a government operative that knew the risks of being here, so he won't insult their intelligence by getting overly worried by little things like that. On the contrary, he advises Daiki to get ready to get his ass whupped. With that, Lukas runs up the stairway behind the two, and Daiki smiles to himself before heading down to find Mizuki. Little does either of them know that Asahara was watching the whole exchange with a smirk of murderous intent on his face.

Mugen still has Penbur underfoot, and smiles as he sadistically grinds his foot into the scientist's face. Penbur surprises Mugen with a sudden burst of strength, toppling him over. The two stare at each other for a moment, before launching into a martial arts contest. Mugen's modified tae-kwan-do keeps Penbur on his toes, but he is no slouch either. His running from Asahara, and the few injuries he had before seeing Mugen slow him down however, and it isn't long until Satan's child has him pinned against a wall. Mugen maniacally laughs and crushes him into the wall over and over again with kick after kick, only stopping when the click of heels heading down the hall way becomes loud enough to hear over Mugen's laughter. The person finally reaches the two and stops.

Penbur cranes his head over and and is immediately spirited away by a ghost from the past. The new entrant is staring at the two of them, but especially him with sad but particularly condescending eyes....just like when he was about to run from Freddy in France when they were dating and his enemies had caught up. He then notices the very obvious height difference between his old flame and this new person though. Freddy was a tall statuesque beauty, and this girl is a far cry from that. Although, the eyes and the hair are so similar, he feels like he's in a time machine. He realizes now who it is though....and softly mutters 'Ameile?'

Mugen regards the new entry with cold eyes and asks 'Meifa' if she's here to pull her daddy's ass from the flames. Meifa drops the duffel bag she was holding and raises her middle finger. She replies that while she doesn't want to, it appears she'll have to save her dad's ass if she intends to kick it herself.
