-Short summary-

As Ashahara's forces and the mafia continue their struggle, a mysterious third party appears and shakes up the arena. This third party is on familiar terms with our heroes, but their participation is only a mere distraction with very fatal consequences.

-Long summary-

The mafia forces are being beaten down by the Li se xing zuo and the corpse walkers who do not seem to feel pain. Meanwhile, Penbur is being kept from assisting his men by Mugen who takes a sadistic delight in watching people die and keeping Penbur from being able to save them. Penbur's communicator blips with death rattles and gunfire every so often, and the scientist struggles to free himself from Mugen's grip, cursing and and threatening all the while. Mugen sneers at his efforts and admonishes him, saying that it's his fault any of this is occurring. No one likes a wishy-washy man to begin with. Penbur stops struggling when he hears a strange sound, and Mugen noting this turns and sees a helicopter hovering right outside the window. At first Satan's child figures this is Penbur's back up, and asks if he's considering a lover's suicide? If the chopper fires upon them here, there's no way either one of them will survive. When Penbur doesn't respond, Mugen realizes that the chopper isn't from the Maifa. Penbur picks up on this and confirms that he doesn't have a back up team, and doubts Luciano will send anyone to help him. The helicopter then turns to it's side and surprises the two by activating a mechanical arm and...throwing a huge object into the window.

The glass shatters and shards sparkle in the air. Penbur uses this distraction to make his escape, and manages to make it down a hallway before Mugen catches him again. Meanwhile the chopper is throwing one huge spherical object after another into the building, and as these objects land, they open and reveal themselves to be robots who open fire upon anyone near it's landing site. After doing this, they roll into balls and move down the halls of the building with lighting speed. Even the corpse takers have trouble with these robots, as they are used to humans who die after being shot enough.  One of the rollbots surprises Daiki, but before he can react, he is shot point blank.

The shaking and noise from the sudden attack has Ruka hiding under a desk clutching her mother's memento. She had tried her best to bleach herself of feelings like her family, but she has already been on the outside too long. Frustrated and scared, she holds the sword close and begs for her mother to save her.

Meanwhile in the helicopter, one Calvin Rockett whoops and celebrates over the victory of his first 'rollbot' launch. He hadn't had much time to modify the robots for combat, but their first foray onto the battlefield had been a smashing success. He shifts the chopper into gear and begins to fly away when a M224 mortar hits the rotor, and the chopper begins to falter. Rockett planned for this however, and jumps out of the chopper and activates a parachute.  The wind shifts him over a bit, but he manages to slip through a window broken through all of the chaos. When he enters he quickly tries to hide, but a group of corpse walkers lead by Daiki finds him first.

Mizuki heads down a hallway to find the source of all the noise, and nearly steps on a fork, then a knife, then a spoon. She then notices Xunshi standing beside a dormant rollbot, and asks in shaky chinese what he's found. He replies that it's some sort of robot that uses....condiments as weapons.  Apparently Rockett had originally planned these robots to be helpful around restaurants, but had an order to convert them to battle bots.

Daiki pulls a fork from his forehead and with a smirk tells Rockett the directions to the nearest McDonalds. Rockett puts his hands up in surrender, all the while thinking he'll be safe since the enemy will more likely than not want to interrogate him, and all he has to do is hold up until...

Daiki lunges forward and stabs him in the abdomen with his bare hand. The force is enough to shove him back out a window, the glass getting lodged into his back as he falls. As he plummets down the side of the bulding, Rockett recalls hearing about the Li se xing huo's ruthlessness, a band of blood crazed monsters who have no need for anything but violence.  He had thought that people with this kind of bloodlust were the snuff made from legends and myths, but as he falls into oblivion he realizes that he truly has met monsters.  True, honest to god monsters.
