WD spy rule two fifty six is entitled 'People on their deathbeds who say they've lived a 'great life' usually omit the last thirty seconds or so'.

Previous rule two fifty five:  Honestly; it's easier to spread death than happiness.

Next rule two fifty seven:  People without shame overcompensate rewarding themselves for doing nothing, while people without confidence overcompensate self punishment for doing nothing.

-Short summary-

Penbur tries to outrun Asahara, while his men try to level the odds against the Li se xing zuo. The cult has soldiers of their own however, people who have had the pain center of their brains removed, effectively making them a very effective and somewhat immortal army. Even with this however, the mafioso won't back down. Penbur manages to get away from the cult leader, just to find someone even worse is waiting for him.

-Long summary-

Daiki finishes with a pair of hapless mafioso, and regrets how easily they throw away their lives. He's good at killing, and enjoys it, but to him such a thing is better as a sport. His younger sister Mizuki however relishes every moment of a kill and continues to search for victims. Daiki hates being related to a barbarian, and it's during his lecture to his sister that a mafia sniper nearly picks him off. One of the corpse walkers takes the bullet, and without missing a hitch turns and returns fire killing the sniper. Daiki thanks the corpse walker, but major sections of his brain removed, he's not much of a conversationalist. Daiki regrets being stuck with a murderous sister and a dumb partner, but realizes there's work to be done.

Meanwhile Xunshi barrels through a few more men, barely even slowing down much less breaking a sweat. One man sees this carnage, and recalling the words that Luciano once said to his underlings that 'a shitty life is no better than an early death', decides to take him on. He doesn't even have time to lament his bad decision as Xunshi plows right through him, ripping him in half with his bare hands, his torso landing several feet below, right in front of Penbur. The scientist grimaces, and just barely avoids an attack from Asahara. A corpse taker on a nearby balcony fires upon him, and his arm is hit. Penbur runs away from the two and upon finding a stairway dashes up it. He's seemingly gotten away from his troubles when someone embraces him from behind. Penbur turns around and recoils in horror when he sees that it is Mugen who's holding him down.

Mugen shoves Penbur's head to the floor so he can see the fights occurring below them, and the countless men and corpse walkers who lie dead and dying. He then smiles and remarks that it's oh so nice knowing that the two of them are behind so much passion, and death. Mugen then admits that he couldn't wait for Penbur to be killed by the chaos of both factions fighting each other, and after the show reaches it's crescendo Penbur will reach the end of his life.
